Optomap Retinal Exam
We are offering the inclusion of the Optomap retinal exam in addition to the comprehensive eye exams provided to our patients. It is an in depth view of the retinal layers, where many eye diseases begin (i.e. macular degeneration, glaucoma, retinal holes or detachments) and systemic diseases as well (i.e. diabetes, stroke and high blood pressure). Some conditions progress without any symptoms but could lead to partial loss of vision or even blindness. The Optomap exam is very fast and comfortable–no dilation, no blurred vision.
